A black belt competitor who wins gold in Forms, Weapons, and Sparring is considered a triple crown winner. A black belt competitor is considered to be undefeated if they win the same event for more then 4 years in a row.

About Team Canada
The Canadian National Martial Arts Team is the OFFICIAL team of Canada as it is recognized by MP’s, MPP’s, the Ministry of Sport, and the Prime Minister of Canada. All competitors are recognized for their efforts and receive letters of good wishes and congratulations from these governing bodies of Canada on behalf of all its people.
As an inclusive organization, we open competition for all Martial Artists who are eager and willing to compete for their country. Everyone wants the chance to hold their countries flag at an international competition and we allow those wishes to become a reality.

- Has been a member of many organizations such as Can/Am, PKC, WCOAA, ICoMA ETC
- Head coach for Team Canada since 2001
- Competed for Team Canada for the past 7 years
- 2003’s Triple Crown World Champion
- Inducted into the Universal Blackbelt Hall of Fame for Master of the Year for the past few years
- Inducted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame for Master of the Year
- Inducted into the North American Hall of Fame for Instructor of the Year
- Recognized by the Prime Minister of Canada and the Ministry of Sport
Sifu Lorenza Shamuon
- Currently Team Captain
- Qualified for the Olympics for a Sport Called Pankration
- Featured performer for the Demo Team, has done numerous demos such as the Canadian National Demo Team
- Competed in the 2000 Pan American Games for Team Canada Pankration Team, was the only one out of over 30 competitors on the team to bring home a gold

Adam Molnar
- Currently the Mississauga regional director for the Canadian National Martial Arts Team
- Is apart of the Canadian National Demo Team
- Has competed in various International Competitions
- MVP in the 2008 Goodwill Games competition
- Inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame 2005 and 2008
- Is a Provincial Champion as well as International Champion
Bryon Davis
- Currently the Brantford region director for the Canadian National Martial Arts Team.
- Has been training for over 20 years
- Head instructor of D & D United Martial Arts
- Studied both Goju-rui and Sotokan Karate
- Has competed in various levels of competition
- Seven time WKA Canadian National Champion twice in continuous fighting, three times in weapons and twice in forms.
