2016 International Games in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

(January 01 - 08, 2016) - The Puerto Vallarta event will be taking place from January 1st to January 8th, 2016. This will be taking place at the Riu Vallarta, a 5 star all-inclusive resort in Nuevo Vallarta. It is located just 30 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta airport. The competition will have competitors ranging from the ages of 4-50 years of age and all ranks will be present. Divisions include forms, weapons, sparring, open musical forms and weapons, synchronized as well as chanbara. The International Games will be a high energy event with many talented martial artists competing.

Medal Count & Results

On Sunday January 1st, 2016, the Canadian National Martial Arts Team travelled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to compete in the 2016 International Games hosted by the International Congress of Martial Arts.
The International Games took place on Sunday January 3rd at the Riu Vallarta Resort and brought in several countries to compete in various divisions including forms, weapons, sparring, open, chanbara, and synchronized. Competitors ranged from the ages of 4 to 60 and represented all belt levels.
The Canadian National Martial Arts Team did an amazing job at the event finishing with the following results:
