2018 International Games in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

(January 04 - 11, 2018) - The Puerto Vallarta event will be taking place from January 4th to January 11th, 2018. This will be taking place at the Grand Palladium Resort and Spa, a 5 star all-inclusive resort in Nuevo Vallarta. It is located just 30 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta airport. The competition will have competitors ranging from the ages of 4-50 years of age and all ranks will be present. Divisions include forms, weapons, sparring, open musical forms and weapons, synchronized as well as chanbara. The International Games will be a high energy event with many talented martial artists competing.

Medal Count & Results

On Thursday January 4th, 2018, the Canadian National Martial Arts Team travelled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to compete in the 2018 International Games hosted by the International Congress of Martial Arts.
The International Games took place on Friday January 5th and Saturday January 6th at the Grand Palladium Resort and Spa and brought in several countries to compete in various divisions including forms, weapons, sparring, open, chanbara, and synchronized. Competitors ranged from the ages of 4 to 60 and represented all belt levels.
The Canadian National Martial Arts Team did an amazing job at the event finishing with the following results:
