2012 International Games in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

(January 01 - 08, 2012) - The 2012 International Games will be fast approaching bringing in competitors representing their nations. Competitors from the ages of 4 and up and of all ranks will be travelling to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for one week to compete in divisions such as forms, weapons, sparring, chanbara, extreme martial arts, and synchronized. Although the destination has been chosen, the resort has not yet been determined. Please stay tuned to see which resort will be our final destination and host of the 2012 International Games!

Medal Count & Results

On Sunday January 1st, 2012, the Canadian National Martial Arts Team travelled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to compete in the 4th annual International Games hosted by the International Congress of Martial Arts. Over 80 Canadians travelled together, of those 80, 45 of them were competitors who were ready to represent their country in the competition. Competitors ranged from the ages of 3 and up and represented all belt levels. They competed against Team USA and Team Dominican Republic in a very close competition.
